Hi every I just played this and did a couple of runs throughs to figure out what
the heck the ending meant. If I got it wrong forgive me. If the bar opened in
1955 then what date time and date is this taking place on. Is it 1972 because I
really don't get it. If it is then it has only been 17 years that have
actually gone by. Why he was asleep, maybe he was dreaming all along. I also
looked up The Old mand and the Sea, that is a Ernest Hemingway book in which was
published in 1952. But did she ever come back or not and why was he asleep and
what the heck does the beauty shop signify or stand for. Thanks

I FINISHED IT!!! I agree strongly with Jim. The ending was terrible. But it was
a lot of fun trying to figure out what to do! :) Thanks for all of your help

So Jim, what did the combination to the lock box end up being?

Fiona, to poke the hole on the bar you have to click on the ice pick that you
find in the middle of the bar, and then click on the bar near the martini glass
in different spots until a little white dot appears.

How do you make the drink?? I've tried clicking the blender and all of the
other items that I have, but I cannot make the drink.

BTW, I think the ending is very unsatisfying.

9999 opened the box for me. I was still hung up on Sina, so I tried using the
phone numbers for her name (S is on the 7 key on the phone), which is 7462, but
that didn't work. So then I was trying XYZ (which is 999 on the phone). I
didn't have a 4th digit so I tried 0 and 9. Got lucky.

I tried 1950-2010 and none of them worked. So it probably isn't a year -
like the other combinations.

I am stuck on the lock box too. I am not positive that XYZ is the correct drink
to select from the phone, but it makes sense considerng the 3 rings. I tried
the same numbers hayley did. I also tried adding 50 and 100 to them (for
meeting 50 and 100 years later). I have been looking around for numbers and
haven't found any. The girls name is Sina - which has four letters. Using
the letters number of the alphabet you get: S - 19 i - 9 n - 14 a - 1 I
tried making 4 digit combinations using those numbers and didn't have much
luck (I wasn't really expecting to, but have run out of things to
try). I am not really sure why 1952 is significant. I know it is on the
window, but that date is before the bar even opened.

ok did everythin all i have left is the green lock box martini xyz glass and
rings still cant figure out # for lock box i tried 1955 1952 1972 all clues
which some have been used before so what am i missing feeling stupid here

to put a hole in bar which will look like a white dot go to end of bar where you
first started like jim explained now click on your ice pick you wont see it on
game screen though now use your mouse to click in this area its by the martini
glass at end of bar keep clicking in this area and white dot will appear now put
your martini glass there then click glass will cause light on celieng click this
and you will see a shadow of your cork screw after this click your icon of corck
crew and about this item when its on your screen click over and over till you
get ring

Ok so I dont understand what you mean when you are telling me to use the ice
pick on the bar because I can't ge tit to show the little white dot. So if
you could explain just a little better that would be great .. What part of the
bar exactly?? I am just not understanding I guess.

Here is some more info: Item #13. Phone - It is on the window bar next to the
wines. I can't see it on my computer. Just click on the bar and
you'll get it. 19. Glass of XYZ - get it from the phone. Take the ice
pick to the main bar where there is a full martin glass (you see it when the
game first starts). Pick a hole in the center of the bar. It makes a white dot
on the bar, just like the one where the ice pick was found. Take the cracked
class and put on on the hole. This cause a light beam to shoot on the ceiling.
Look at the light ceiling and you'll see the bottle opener with the cork
screw out. Examine your cork screw (item #8). Click on it and it opens. Keep
clicking and it turns into a ring. Now you have two rings. Take the skill card
to the window with the numbers, use it on the window. Take the phone, click on
the screen, click on the skill card to enter the numbers. Click on the coaster
to enter the URL. Pick the XYZ glass. Now you have the XYZ glass. Look at the
ice block and it will be melted and there is a 3rd ring. Examine the rings.
Use the cleaning cloth (#10) to clean them and they have the letters XYZ on
them. You can now enter in number into the lock box #12.

How to you get the phone?

does anyone know how to find item # 14?

LaLa, 2-3 glass panes to the left of the cabinet that has a mirrow over it,
there is some #'s. Go to that glass pane and click on the gotskill card and
it will show you the 4 #'s. Click them from left to right and you got it.
Sorry, I forgot to tell you that you need to be at that pane the first time.

card up to the glass and press 1952? What glass am I doing it to? Explain a
little better please.

Put your gotskill card up to the glass and click in the #s, 1952. This is your
phone's password. Then, use what's on the coaster for the url on the
phone.

I got all but 2 items and I can't find anymore. How do you unlock the lock
box? And also how do you put the code into the cell phone I believe that the
last two items that i need will proabb;y come from doing those two things.

I think 1955 is the lock box code. I see 5195 on the window. The bar opened in
1955, but I don't know how to enter it into the lock.

The book is in the middle of the window bar. (The semi-cicular bar that runs a
long the windows.) It is "The Old Man and the Sea". It is red and is
lying flat on top of the bar.

was no help - it is in Japanese. 6. Metal mixing glass - on bar behind
shakers. Has lime juice used to make daquire. 7. Lighter - under cabinet with
mirror. Open it up and there is a ring inside. 8. Cork screw - on window bar
next to cabinet with mirror. 9. Rum bottle - with bottles behind bar. 4 bottle
from left, bottom shelf. Used to make drink. 10. Cleaning cloth - on bar under
bottles. 11. Wine bottle - between ice chest and wall. 12. Lock box - inside
cabinet with mirror. Has a 4 digit combination that I don't know how to
operate. Open cabinet with key. 13. Blank - have not found this item. 14.
Blank - have not found this item. 15. Key - under book. You have to make a
daquire first. Then it tells you to read the book. Click on the book and it
will lift up exposing the key. 16. Blender - behind bar on a small table left
side. Click on it. Add rum, lime juice, and mix. Do it twice to make a double
daquire. To mix, click on the blender icon again and then on the contents of
the blender. 17. Ring - found inside lighter. 18. Block of ice - inside of ice
chest. The ice chest is on the left side of the bar. Click on the lid on the
bottom left corner. 19. Blank - have not found this item. 20. Got skill card -
found inside the brief case.

Where did you get the cell phone? There is a lighter under the cabinet with
the mirror on top. Examine the lighter to find a ring inside.

I would guess 5952 is the combination to the lock box (the one you get by
getting the key under the book and opening the cabinet with the mirror over it.
You have to make a double darique using the blender, rum bottle, and lime juice
from the cup behind the shakers.) I don't know how to set the numbers on
the lock though.

the code of 5952 is in the view of the city in white small numbers on the fourth
window from the wine rack. As far as where or how you use it i don't
know...I'm stuck
